CYKE Forums CYKE Forums Picture

In the next few months, we will open the CYKE Forums. We hope that a visit to one of these will let you hear about different ways other people cope with some of the same challenges that you might face.

There will be a number of important reasons that you might find the CYKE Forums helpful.

1. It helps to know that you're not alone. Problems can be hard enough without the feeling your family is the only one that has them. It is not a case of "misery loving company" but a chance to find out how other people may have handled a situation similar to your own.

2. The right answers are not always in a book. Doctors and health professionals have years of experience and training, but in the end, what they may have to suggest has to work for your family. Think of these professionals as consultants. They can give you a lot of different suggestions, but you still have to find one the works best for you. Listen to the experience of others and make those work for your family too.

3. What you have to say is important. Coming to find support is important, but your thoughts and experiences may very well help someone else. Your experience matters. Your experience could shine some light in someone else's fog.
